TULUS

Muhammad Tulus Rusydi or usually called Tulus was born at Agustus 20, 1987 in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Now he is 32 years old. He is a one of famous singer and song writer in Indonesia. 

In addition, this Minangkabau-blooded man also works as an architect after completing his studies at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung.

Singing since childhood, Tulus began to be known when he began to sing often at jazz club community events and campuses in the city of Bandung. During college he had joined the Sikuai Band.

Her first album, Tulus, produced by Ari Renaldi, and distributed by Demajors, was released by her own record company, Tulus Record in September 2011, where she herself and her siblings, Riri Muktamar Rusydi acted as executive producers. His songs such as Sewindu, Friends of Life, Briefly Stories, Mr. Miss Lonely, and Falling in Love, rule the charts on radios throughout Indonesia.

Rolling Stone Indonesia Magazine named Tulus as Editor's Choice: Rookie of the Year in 2013. In addition, her first album was ranked first on the Rolling Stone chart in January and February 2012.

Friends of Life had ranked 1st in Kompas TV's K-20 series.

Tulus often holds solo concerts to satisfy his fans. His first concert was held at the Culturel Francais Center Auditorium (now IFI) Bandung, titled 'An Introduction: Tulus' on September 28, 2011, then the' Beyond Sincere 'concert at the Jakarta Arts Building on May 25, 2012, and finally the single concert titled' Diorama 'concert on May 9, 2013 at the Dago Tea House Closed Theater, Bandung.

At the 2013 Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta, Tulus became one of the most interesting newcomers to the audience. At the event, Tulus also collaborated with Raisa, where they sang the song Teman Hidup and A Whole New World.

At the end of June 2013, RAN collaborated with Tulus. They launched one single, We Can.

At the end of August 2013, Tulus released a single Shoe in the form of a digital download that can be downloaded through iTunes, and became one of the singles in the top iTunes iTunes chart, in addition to Teman Hidup and Sewindu
